Case study · Made-to-order furniture
From 60% to 87% of orders delivered on time, in the first month.
A made-to-order furniture manufacturer replaced its planning spreadsheet, the whiteboard on the shop floor and a stack of paper job tickets with one application built on its own process.
The client’s name stays confidential at their request. The system itself, with sample data, is open for you to click through.

Where things stood
Four places the information lived, and none of them was a system.
The factory worked. It’s just that every answer to “where is this order?” took a phone call, a walk across the floor, or the right person.
Planning, in a spreadsheet
One file, kept by one person, updated by hand. Correct the moment it was saved and a little less correct every hour after.
Progress, on a whiteboard
Each order’s stage was written on the board in the workshop. If you weren’t on the floor you couldn’t see it; if you were, you had to trust it.
Orders, on paper tickets
Job tickets travelled with the parts. They got lost and torn, and at the end someone copied them back into the file.
Priorities, in one person’s head
A colleague in sales knew which orders were genuinely urgent. When they were out, everyone guessed.
What we built
One application, for the office, the floor and sales.
The same system with three doors, one per role. It runs in the browser, on a computer or a phone, with nothing to install.
Planning and stock
Orders, due dates and materials in one place. The administrator sees everything: what’s in progress, what’s late, what’s missing from stock.
The floor: a progress board
A kanban board where each team moves an order to its next stage. The whiteboard, but visible from anywhere and always current.
Sales: customers and orders
Salespeople see the real status of every order and can answer a customer without calling the workshop.
Results
Same team, same machines. Nobody guesses any more.
In the first month, on-time delivery went from about 60% to 87%, and throughput rose 28%.
Not because anyone worked faster. Because everyone saw the same information at the same moment, and priorities no longer depended on one person.

How we work
The same road we offer every company.
One call
You show us the process and the file. We tell you on the spot whether we can build something useful.
Five days
A working prototype on your data, at a link you open in the browser. Free.
Your decision
If it’s clearly better than what you have, we build the final version at a fixed price agreed before you sign.
Handover
The code, the documentation and the deployment are yours. No licences, no per-seat fees.
The prototype is free and commits you to nothing. If we don’t think it will come out well, we say so on the first call.
Booking
Does your production depend on a spreadsheet too?
Forty minutes. Bring the file, and we’ll tell you on the call whether we can build it.
